With you all the way

Happy moments always fly by—before we knew it, a week had already passed since the 2025 China International Model Expo (HEC). Over the past week, we’ve been sorting through the photos and videos captured during the three-day event and conducting a thorough review to assess this year’s successes and areas for improvement.
As we carry out these efforts, memories of this year’s exhibition keep flooding back. Once again, all colleagues at Henglong Models would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited the AF20 booth.
Although the three-day exhibition offers something exciting every day, only a small number of professional visitors are able to attend all three days. Therefore, in this issue of the program, we have carefully selected and categorized the highlight moments from each of the three days to present them to our audience.
99A Debuts

The third-generation upgrade of the Type 99 main battle tank is the dream model for Chinese RC tank enthusiasts. At the 2025 China Model Expo, Henglong Models finally unveiled to the wider modeling community this long-awaited engineering prototype of the Type 99 third-generation upgrade.

Model enthusiasts who had come specifically to see it gathered around the Henglong RC-99A prototype, eagerly asking our staff for detailed information about this remote-controlled tank.

Among the visitors to the exhibition was someone who had personally driven the 99 Phase III upgrade; he excitedly told the Henglong Model exhibitor:
The 99ARC tank released by Henglong Model boasts commendable features both in terms of materials used and in its faithful reproduction of the actual combat vehicle.

Recognition from industry professionals is the greatest encouragement for our work. Henglong Model will steadfastly uphold our corporate culture of “never settling for less,” striving to deliver the official version of the 99ARC tank to you as quickly as possible.
Painting Competition

At the 2024 show, Henglong Models launched a paint-job competition, which received an enthusiastic response from model-building enthusiasts. To ensure the continued healthy interaction between Henglong Models and the modeling community, we are once again hosting a paint-job competition at this year’s show.
Once again, this paint-job competition has yielded a remarkable number of outstanding entries. Now, let Editor Henglong present these exceptional painted works to you once more.

The standout entry in this year’s livery competition is a historical alternate-history piece titled “Land Cruiser.”

This piece is by Wen Mu, a well-known figure in the model-painting community. According to Teacher Wen Mu: “The Land Cruiser is a concrete manifestation of model culture.” This work involves
Various aspects of in-depth model-building techniques. The “Land Cruiser” was crafted using modifications, paintwork, and 3D technology. It took Teacher Wenmu more than a year to complete this piece. The chassis of the “Land Cruiser” is based on the Leopard G and King Tiger tank chassis produced by Henglong Models.
It was assembled by splicing together various components. For the turret, in addition to using the standard Tiger I turret, turrets from the King Tiger (P) and the Panzer III Ausf. L were also employed. Furthermore, Teacher Wenmu used 3D printing technology to produce the turret for the Panzer II, as well as the superstructure on the chassis.

This highly creative modded model drew the most gasps of admiration from the audience. Everyone eagerly raised their cameras or smartphones to capture this delightfully amusing creation, preserving it in their own memories.

Integration with popular culture

As the Henglong tank continues to evolve, our products finally intersected with pop culture at this year’s exhibition.
The arrival of cosplayers marks a growing number of young people discovering the fun of RC tanks and joining the RC tank community.
We hope that the inaugural collaboration between “Guns N’ Roses” at this exhibition will lay a solid foundation for Chinese remote-control military models, represented by Henglong Models, to gain wider recognition and break into mainstream audiences.

Having you by my side all the way

The robust development of the Henglong model would be impossible without the enthusiastic support of our community members. We will deeply cherish this enthusiasm and channel it into the driving force that propels us forward.
With you by our side every step of the way, even a little pain is worth it. We hope the Henglong Model will continue to accompany you on your journey ahead. Thank you for being with us—see you in Beijing next year!
