Henglong Model was founded in 1986. Since its establishment, it has adhered to the philosophy of "never settling for less," creating exquisite, high-quality toy models. The company focuses on researching and producing various remote-control models for land, sea, and air applications, leading new developments in the industry.

We have a well-established corporate management system, high-quality research and management personnel, and a development and design institution with 30 years of accumulated technological expertise and experience. Our facility is equipped with advanced research and testing equipment—including 28 high-precision CNC machines and 10 CNC machine tools imported from Germany—plus more than ten specialized production lines, including 12 fully automated production lines and 6 semi-automatic production lines. We specialize in the manufacture of toy models that are best-selling worldwide. We are a comprehensive enterprise integrating R&D, production, and trade.

Through Thick and Thin: The Growth Journey of Henglong Plastic Toys

1986

In 1986, Mr. Wang Weiguang founded the Henglong Handcraft Workshop, developing products and molds for other toy manufacturers in the Chenghai area. Henglong Mold Workshop has become a leading provider of custom plastic molds locally!

1999

In 1999, Mr. Wang Weiguang, drawing on years of craftsmanship experience and sensing changes in the market environment, led Henglong Mold Workshop to begin its transformation, thus giving rise to Henglong Toy Company. Since then, the company has continuously innovated and developed new products—from design and mold development all the way through to production and sales—right up to the present day! The most famous first-generation 1:16 German Tiger 1 remote-control tank model was born in this very year and is still being produced today, enjoying worldwide acclaim.

2013

In 2013, Henglong’s 1:16 tank model lineup had already exceeded dozens of models, featuring professional-grade products such as gasoline-electric vehicles and high-speed racing boats, making it a globally renowned model brand.

2016

2016 was the most historically significant year for Henglong Models. After two years of research and development, the 1:6 all-metal Tiger I tank model—Germany—was officially launched. That year, at major events such as the Canton Fair, the Asia-Europe Expo, and the Chenghai Toy Expo, the model received an enthusiastic response, bringing honor to Chenghai toys.
