With less than a week to go, the China International Model Exhibition will be held again at the Beijing Exhibition Hall. It’s been a year since we last met, and we’ve missed each other very much. Like the vast number of model enthusiasts, all the colleagues at Henglong Models are also looking forward to the early arrival of this exhibition.

Here, all the colleagues of Henglong Model would like to thank the leaders of the Ministry of Commerce, as well as the CEOs of Beijing Ruiyang Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Hangzhou Borui Exhibition Service Co., Ltd., for providing us with such a wonderful platform to host an awesome remote-control tank party.

At this grand party, you’ll meet all kinds of enthusiasts—painting aficionados, customization gurus, photography buffs, competitive gamers, tank-and-race fans, diorama builders, tournament organizers, social-media influencers, military-merchandise collectors, and cosplay enthusiasts… In short, let’s just say this: when it comes to Henglong tanks, the only limit is your imagination—there’s nothing these pros can’t do.

 

When it comes to paint schemes, there are “historical-recreation enthusiasts” who meticulously research and recreate battle histories, and then there are “creative types” who dress their tanks in frilly, cake-like skirts and give them a sweet, pastel makeover. In the editor’s view, the paint job reflects the artist’s skill and state of mind; whether it faithfully recreates history or not is hardly the point. As long as you like it and it brings you joy, that’s all that matters.

In addition to circuit modifications, modders skilled in 3D printing also undertake cosmetic upgrades based on the Henglong tank. For example, Beijing’s renowned car enthusiast “Genius PhD—Yaoyao” has used 3D printing to reimagine the Henglong M4A3 Sherman, perfectly recreating the “Fury” tank.

 

 

Of course, photography enthusiasts can also find creative inspiration and the joy of taking pictures on the Henglong tank. In the age of social media, photography has become a sophisticated art. If you can take great photos, you’re naturally more likely to win a girl’s heart. As far as the editor knows, several couples among our Henglong enthusiasts have even tied the knot thanks to their shared love for tanks. At the 2023 and 2024 exhibitions, photography enthusiasts will not only be able to capture 1/16-scale model tanks at the Henglong Models booth, but also 1:1 scale real-life vehicles. And these big guys really do roll!

 

 

 

Due to their enormous size, these real-life giants are always the first to arrive and the last to depart. From this perspective, the Henglong model team consistently boasts the longest exhibition duration at the China International Model Expo.

Models and 2D culture are a match made in heaven—natural partners from the start. Nationally renowned military collectibles experts and celebrated cosplayers have added tremendous flair to our grand event. What’s more, as military-themed cosplayers, they know tanks and tactics inside and out. Their presence truly complements our exhibition perfectly.

 

 

 

Therefore, remote-controlled tanks are much more than just models or toys.
No matter your age or how you like to play, you’re sure to find your own unique fun in the Henglong Tank. Our community brings together players of all ages—little kids, grown-ups, and even many longtime veterans. Therefore, the editor doesn’t believe remote-controlled tanks are a niche hobby either.
However, due to the high-pressure, fast-paced nature of modern life, our fellow car enthusiasts scattered across the country have for a long time been enjoying “solitary pleasures” on their own. Still, being able to find joy in solitude amidst our busy lives is actually a pretty good thing.

Whether you’re painting or customizing, you can hone your hands-on skills and unleash your creativity. As long as your heart is filled with anticipation and curiosity, you’ll always feel young—no matter how old you are.
